“Year after year, coming down Grand Avenue in San Rafael, coming up from Monterey or Carmel, coming from the north and the Mendocino Coast, Tamalpais appeared as a constant point of reference, the way a desert traveler will see an oasis, not only for water, but as the very idea of home. In support of the very idea of home, I am offering this work made in my home, the Bay Area of California, on Mt. Tamalpais. In conjunction with the JG Art Advisory: Benefit Auction for SoCal Fire Victims & Firefighters, 50% of all proceeds will be donated to the Grief & Hope: LA Art World Fire Recovery Fund, an emergency relief fund for artists and arts workers impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires.
